Though, it should always be noted that this wasn't always the case. Summers already explained to her before that like Metahumans proper, Chemical Immortals each were given their own design totally unique to them, save for standardized design models used for mass produced conversions. Though, Ashigaru elevated in rights and then elevated further from the rank of Retainers could customize their design as they saw fit once they became a Daimyo.
"I have been wondering something." Summers spoke up; "Are you familiar with the concept of an "ego death"?"

"Krina explained such a thing to me when I was being worked on. She told me that whatever life I had prior to my conversion and subsequent memory loss is totally gone. Apparently, I have been in operation for over two hundred years. There is no guarantee I have any living family from my past life. In other words, whoever I was before is gone.... In a way, I have experienced this death of ego."

Catastrovania raised her eyebrow. That was a good question. And it was a question well beyond her caliber. She didn't... uh, she didn't mess with these deep, philosophical things. This kind of stuff was more like what the Founder should deal with.
