I spoke of Redemption to these Rabbits, and volition. Most of them heard me, and received my message. I asked them to think about what the "Pantocrator" would think if they let themselves fall to ruin. That helped my message reach even deeper, and now, they were working again.
It was easy to accomplish. All Ela had sought and worked to do here was undone, unraveled by a few hours of my time speaking encouragements to counteract the defeatism he had planted into their minds.
Now the Clavius Crater Rabbits were acting, on their own. Without any help. They were finally doing what they wanted to do, possibly for the first time ever. They were set about to rebuild here, and cooperate with the Rabbits of the other two Moon deities to help rebuild Lunarian society all together. It was an inspiring sight.
Still, the work was far from done, and I'd need to revisit this scene someday. But for now, I decided I needed to return to the Bunker. But not before I left, three rabbits came before me, Rabbits who were very touched by my message.
A young forensics officer named Haijing. He had seen what I saw, and already tried what I did, but because he could not oppose a god and show them the meaning of righteous strength, he was left in a powerless position before Ela. Now that I defeated the evil god, he wanted to return the favor, and offered me his services.
'Wait, why does the Moon need forensics? Your society is ignorant of things like murder and investigations...' I asked.
[HAIJING] "Haha... W-Well, it's simple. We solve, uh... o-other kinds of disputes. We use DNA tracing to find out who owns things, that way if some Rabbits played too hard, we can prevent them from getting a devious kleptomaniacal idea if they see something someone else owns that they like!"
'You use forensics solely to prevent toys and trinkets from being stolen?'
[HAIJING] "Y-Yeah... b-basically! B-But our DNA technology is very advanced... for example, we know how to trace it, even if someone tried washing it off."
Interesting. I feel as though he'll fit in with the Intelligence Department, so I opt to recruit him. The next Rabbit, a priestess of Pantocrator, Taifu, wished to accompany me as well. Unlike most Rabbits, she was... well, she had an actual nose like a bunny!
'You want to... worship me?'
[TAIFU] "Nothing'd make me happier right now, Goddess! I don't think the Lord would mind! He'd probably even take you on as one of His Angels when Correction Day comes!"
Well, she'd be of a big help with Ecclesiastics. And then the next one... Sumiko. She was a Gravity Magic tutor. She wore a suit meant to protect the body while exerting Gravitational forces.
[SUMIKO] "The thing is, learning how to use gravity magic involves making yourself into a mini-center of gravity and learning how to change it! Gotta wear these suits, or else you risk hurting your body! If you're careful, you could snap a bone!"
She'd be excellent to have. She could Psyops personnel Gravity Magic.
