Barricades can't be moved through until destroyed. They have 4 HP.
Intact barricades impose disadvantage on any attacks that pass through them. They block grenades or other thrown objects.
Damaged barricades impose these same penalties unless you're standing next to them.
The sirens turn on just before they arrive, a loud rising and falling wail, the all-too-familiar sound of hunt and pursuit that every criminal in Heat City knows. It would have been smarter, maybe, to keep them off and try to perform a sneak attack; you know they're coming, of course, but they don't know you know. Maybe they figure the intimidation of the noise is worth it, or maybe they're just underestimating you.
A loud bang as the spike strips do their work and the tires blow, followed by a pair of crashes as the vehicles strike utility poles. A rifle shot rings out as Svetlana draws the first blood. Most of the gang can hear but not see all this; a few cautiously peer through the cracks in the wooden slats of the barricades, trying to get a read on what's out there.
The first wave has arrived. They're starting out heavy this time, with shielded SWAT officers ready to lead the charge alongside patrolmen and QRF. Get ready.
