Full of gorgeous women who love a man in uniform!" Smith spoke with stars in his eyes, you grinned even more. You were in uniform after all. You had never been to a city before. "I can't wait to grab a beer and a cutie when off duty. Security detail is piss easy." Suranovich said with a satisfied sigh, basking in a light you couldn't see. The pair were clearly very happy at the prospect of visiting Kahva. Their enthusiasm was rubbing off on you.
Rocking in your seat your mind a buzz of possibilities, you might even meet other pilots. You might even get to talk to them. And also as the rumours imply, cute girls too. With everyone in their own minds the conversation trails off as imaginations flared. Hours seemed to pass until a voice blared through the internal speaker system. Declaring the upcoming approach, the words woke everyone from the dull stupor that had coated the helicopter. Looking up, your eyes locked onto Mistress Yuga's own. Checking her watch you turned away. "Corporal. Catch!" She declared without warning, reflectively your hands raised even as you flinched.
Catching a small metal object, opening your palm to find a large pin. A white skull, the Greek letter for theta painted in a bold crimson in the center of it's forehead. Pinning the Sigil to your beret you quickly put it on, trying it out. Smith gave you an admiring nod as Suranovich shot you a thumbs up. Then the helicopter decided to fall out of the sky, leaving your soul up in the clouds and wiping the grin off your face. And with an uncomfortable bump the aircraft landed, you didn't know who to thank. So you just thanked everyone. Before you could give the guardsmen even more than a goodbye Mistress Yuga had whisked you onto the helipad.
