+Brave Knights of Dutonis.+ The voice of the Arch Dominus went through the head of Fredric as he studied the devastation, +You have asked for a moment a glory and I have given it! Seek out the enemy mockeries of our God-Machines and teach them the Machine God’s mercy for such blatant plagiarism!+
Those words, spoken by the true priest of the Machine God, settled the Machine Spirit that was within Dominus Borgius at ease. It gave the Prince a moment to think and realize the situation according to the declaration.
+Everyone, listen to me!+ yelled Fredric through the Manifold to all his Knights, +We shall split off at the Argonaut line, those who are east shall stay here with Lord Marshal Heimer while the rest follow me into the capitol. All who follow me shall engage in a flanking maneuver in a spearhead formation!+
That declaration, which took the Prince a minute to plan and realize, was quickly realized by his Knights. The Argonaut line was one of the great steam rivers that went right through the middle of House Borgius and is a vital trading route for his House. Thanks to its location and people’s knowledge of it, it was easy for everyone to split evenly between the defenders and attackers.
Fredric was the first to start the charge forward, with the rest of his Knights following suit as they fell into whatever available positions there were to them. Within half a minute the formation was finished with a set of Armigers taking the tip in front of Fredric and the rest of the Knights following behind him. With this formation they were able to reach roughly seventy clicks in an hour.
They were not the only ones to travel forward as the prince noticed running around their feet were a series of Mechanicum transports. He caught a few glimpses of the Acillains, Genetically Engineered Sons of the Arch Dominus, riding along as they skillfully joined the spearhead.
On the other end of the Field the Prince noticed a series of Knights going at their highest speed towards the objective. It did not take a genius to realize these were the muscle heads of house Navaros trying to see which of them could make it to the battle first. As expected too, it was Dominus Navaros ahead of them all.
With that thought the Prince quickly moved his occulars away from the fools and towards their objective. From above he could see a series of large shots likely from Particep Semper slam itself against the shield and ground ahead of him. The Prince could only grow a smile as he realized the objective of the smartest man he ever met.
He made a smoke screen for the advancing Knights, making it so the Xenos would not have a chance to stop them from the approach.
