This land has belonged to the Protavic for generations and these warriors aren't about to let the Glachovic ruin it. The hunters only manage to burn down a couple of huts and slaughter a dozen livestock before the defensive force that our tribe left behind arrives. A clever young man known as Virol of the Bupac leads the beast-bringers to success – he uses the superior numbers of the Protavic and their familiarity with the land to encircle the pillagers and fill them with arrows.
By the time that they are done, only seven of the Glachovic manage to escape by forcing their way past their assailants and rushing off into the wilderness. Ten of them lie dead while thirteen lie wounded. As for the Protavic losses, the beast-bringers only lost a single warrior, though four of them are severely injured. Overall, the defence was a resounding success.
Unaware of this attack, the combined might of the Vuvovic and Protavic tribes move on to reclaim the territory of the blood-drinkers, only to find that it is completely unoccupied.
When the women of the Vuvovic are questioned, they explain that the Glachovic have left. At the crack of dawn, they just gathered their forces and departed for the east, where their homeland lies. The hunters must have been informed about the attack on the Bruslavic and decided that it was better to consolidate their forces in their own territory than allow themselves to be stretched thin.
Drovul Bal and the other Vuvovic leaders are eager to bring the fight to the Glachovic, not necessarily out a desire for vengeance but out of admiration for their strength – they wish to steal their power through their blood-drinking rites and grow stronger. Some of the Protavic leaders are not so sure. In fact, a couple of them are calling for an end to this war here and now.
Right now, the Protavic have almost two hundred warriors standing ready, while the Vuvovic have a little over a hundred. As for the Glachovic, they only lost around fifteen during the battle for the singers. Based on what our tribe's leaders know, this means that they must still have at least a hundred and eighty fighters left. In fact, they almost certainly have more, it just on how many defenders the hunters had left behind to defend their territory in the first place.
The Protavic could join the blood-drinkers and attack the Glachovic. This will satisfy the bloodlust of the Vuvovic, but the battle may prove costly.
The Protavic could bring an end to the violence. Even if victory is possible, too many lives would be lost trying to achieve it. The Vuvovic won't be happy.
>Join the blood-drinkers and attack the Glachovic.
>Bring an end to the violence.
