Anyways, while I could definitely see most Spartans being a little too fucked up to pursue something approaching a normal relationship, it's not like it's impossible.
Off the top of my head, there's Maria, who canonically retired from active duty and allegedly managed to find a husband and start a family. How that actually went for her is subject to speculation, but getting that far does provide some small sliver of hope for Sven to not fall into the AI Waifu rabbit hole like John did.

It'll never make up for what went into their upbringing, but at the same time it's the absolute least of what they deserve for putting up with it now, then, and in the future to come.
