I really tried to make the drawing work but I might have only made it worse. I'll probably have to actually study proper shading along arms and hands cause I struggle a lot with those without using a reference.
I did want to finish this drawing because I was supposed to post random trivia when I did, and I will do that now. It's not info that's important for the actual quest, so if you don't care, just skip it. (also I'll be working on the bug killing update, don't worry.)
-I dislike drawing Weaver, both because I'm not that good at drawing guys and because I think his design feels a little bland. The main reason I put him in the thumbnail of the first quest is because I disliked the drawing and wanted people's expectation to be low on my drawings.
-Originally, Weaver was supposed to start as a college student, which would've massively changed the characters you originally met. However, I thought that having Weaver be a college student didn't make him enough of a failure, so I opted to make him a high school dropout.
-Leah is the only character that has changed very little from how I originally imagined them, as most characters were toned down/up from their original archetype when the quest started proper. Mona was, ironically, one of the latest addition in the cast.
-You were originally supposed to be able to ask one favor from Mona, one of them would've been for her to protect you when you were in danger, or giving you advice on each girl's difficulty. While it would've fit the 'dating sim advisor' archetype, it didn't really fit Mona's goal of goading you into having sex with her.
-Schadenfreude is only ever drawn on one layer, and it usually takes about 10 minutes to draw her.
There's more but I'd rather keep most of it for the end of this thread, where I'll probably answer most non-spoilery questions. Anyway, today's vote winner is baiting the bugs out, and the squire shall be equipped with bio nightmare.
