The still air crept by my body as I rush. Heart pounding in my chest, legs moving as fast as they could running along the skin of the earth. Each step crossed a mile going eastward, gathering power needed to make the jump ahead. My tell was the great body of water I saw ahead. The strait that divided two continents. That was the distance I was going to cross. Packing it all in now, waiting until my heel touches the sand of the beach nearby, and then I let loose, pressing my sole down and fire. The force left behind a little crater, just a little one, as much as I could restrain the force on Hainei itself whilst still rocketing off on the course for the place, soaring through the atmosphere.
I jumped between the continents, there was no time to waste right now. I was going to the place they chose, the flowery field in Shengesia. In the lower hemisphere. I would land safely there.
....Oh! What was he thinking?! Going out alone to face such an opponent, all by himself?!
Ludwyhn had been absent a lot recently. I heard nothing of the Commander of the Heroes. Not until I decided to ask his mother herself in her castle. And what Eikn told me was chilling. That long before I had even began to know this world, Ludwyhn had taunted the Trinity. And when a Woldorian taunts, they must fight, or their image suffers. After all, nobody wants to be known as someone who blows air amongst them.
They responded to the taunt, and arranged a meet. In reality, a battle to the death. The Imperial Princess was supposed to be sent to fight Ludwyhn, and settle the taunt. But instead, they've chosen another.
In all of Hainei, throughout the heavens and the earth, there is one Mortal who is said to possess an aura so terrifying, so powerful, that it could even crush a god. A man who is the exception of all men, with the strength needed to crush the ideas of all his enemies. He is known as the legendary 'Sivil'. He is the Trinity's pride, and one of their most venerated heroes. He has not lived long, but in his short life, he has achieved many things. He is said to have clashed with the Woldorian pantheon's Warichud, said to have defeated the Gatekeeper of HEUS and banished it, and to have sent the Marauder Demigod Tenbhur into a full retreat.
This is not a fight Ludwyhn could survive. Yet, he was bound and determined by his senseless sense of honor to pursue it. He went alone, before I even knew. I hoped It wasn't too late. I hoped he wasn't already dead!
I landed with grace in the field of flowers at the end of my continental jump.
I didn't even harm one of the azaleas or begonias. I've arrived...
