As the berserker breaks forward into a charge with the greatsword up, you duck back past her and back along the hill to the sight of where the mimic had first been cut down. The clang of steel behind you alerts you to the exchange of swords. You don’t waste time turning around to gawp.
You examine the flowers along the hill–.. and you see none of the mercurial slime about the flowers. Where did it go..?
