Two minutes they were silent as the Primarch’s eyes glanced at each of the pages. TalOS could see in the eyes of Dorn a stern focus on each of the words which TalOS had written up or translated on his journey to Terra.
The Tablet itself was nothing special, but TalOS had stored upon his Storm Bird a Data-Vault which transmitted the information through the Noosphere to the slate. Because of this connection it will be hard to hack by the current generation of Priests. In time that will change, but TalOS knew it was efficient.
As for the information that was stored upon it TalOS did not lie. Upon hearing that his brother was seeking out knowledge of the universe it was hard to not get excited about this option. There were plenty of items within it that even an insider to the Cult Mechanicus would find hard to discover, but TalOS had presented it to his brother because they were truths of the world.
If he ever wanted to learn of the numerous Heresies and such of the Mechanicum, he could. If he did not there was a plethora of collections that contained the history of mankind to the knowledge of the Mechanicum as well as the current makeup of the universe. Even details of the Rift which formed in the north eastern corner of the Galaxy was mentioned.
The things that were not mentioned were things that TalOS agreed to keep a secret. The beings which lived in the realm beyond and the true heresy that became a bedrock of the Mechanicum. If Dorn would say anything about either TalOS did not know, but Malcador made it clear that none of his brothers were to know the truth of the Warp and its denizens.
As TalOS’s thoughts finished Dorn asked a question, “I see you have an edit feature upon this. Have you prepared that for me?”
The Tech Priest nodded to those words, “Unlike myself you will be reaching out into the galaxy to find new truths of how this galaxy functions. I do not demand it, but if you were to fill out your accounts in those data-stacks then I will be infinitely grateful.”
Dorn thought to himself as he studied the slate, his grip changing as he came to a conclusion, “Our Father said that our goal in the Universe is to bring Illumination to those who live in darkness. As this is a chance to move towards that, I will employ it.”
“Thank you Rogal. For that alone I look forward to our next meeting.” TalOS answered with a sense of generosity creeping through his chest.
They talked a little more, but TalOS’s visit was over. He felt though that it will not be the last, especially that TalOS was now a member of the War Council.
