You guess on some level you knew, or believed you knew, that you would never achieve the same level so you were bitter and angry. That is a hard truth to swallow, but you have move past that now.
You still believe there is something truly wrong with the world. You don't know what, but something about this world is twisted. Before, you would rail against it and cry about it harming you, where as now, you know that the only true choice one has is to work against it.
