The rest of her body isn't far behind. Her legs disintegrate from right underneath her. Her torso decays into three large chunks that soon fade away into grains of dust. She only manages to walk half the length of the hallway before all that's left of her is loose, swirling dust in the air.
The funny thing? You swear you saw her smiling right as her head collapsed in on itself. Her last tie to this world has been severed. All that's left in the hallway now besides the dust is a heavy, overwhelming smell of freshly picked flowers. A smell that'll hang in the air for days, maybe even weeks, but it too will fade.

There's something on the ground, laying right where IN LIMBO was standing. It's a small little scrap of paper, no bigger than the palm of your hand.
You and your coworkers walk over to collect what she left behind. Now that you're closing to it, you now see that it's an old ticket stub. One from a movie theater that you don't recognize the name of. The paper is yellowed and the text on it is barely legible.
The only thing you can make out is the year <span class="mu-b">1930.</span>

"...Heh." Anthony shakes his head. "If this here ticket belongs to her, hoo! She's older than even lil' old me."
"Guess this was the only thing keeping her soul trapped down here."
"I." Lucy doesn't quite know what to say. "I-I hope sh-she's resting in peace now."
"There was nothin' left for her here. I think she'll be fine."
You nod in agreement. It's better that she moved on than to stay here, even if a small part of you selfishly wished she would, just for her samples.
There's nothing else you can do here. What's done is done. The three of you head back inside, since well, you still have a shift to complete. A shift you should probably start wrapping up.
