He perks up at you mentioning his wife, no doubt contemplating how differently his life could have gone had he not grown close to her. Chilli ponders over this a few moments, then takes a deep breath, seemingly growing a few inches before you as he rises back up to his full height.
“I think I get it now.” he says, a genuine smile on his face. “Thanks Dad.”
“Of course. If you ever need anything, I'm always here for you.” you say, Chilli nodding then turning towards the door to head out. Hopefully this is a lesson he'll keep for life. As he walks out the door, Towa walks up behind you, and as you turn wraps her arms around your shoulders.
“It has been terribly lonely at night, without you here.” she says, barely above a whisper as she presses herself to you. “Perhaps it's time we fixed that?”
“Aww, Auntie Towa! Gross!” Future Chaya shouts, Towa's head whipping around to see her and Ace are still in the room. The demoness's cheeks bloom crimson, Ace's do as well, and seeing her adorable expression are unable to do anything but laugh. Towa's head whips back around to you, about to say something when you reach up, and hug her to you. She seems about to protest for a second, but then gives up and simply hugs you back with a roll of her eyes before turning her gaze back to Future Chaya and Ace.
“If you want to stay for a show, I think I can show you kids a thing or two.” she says with a mischievous smile, the two older kids' faces going crimson. Both excuse themselves and immediately rush out of the room. You can't help but laugh at their reaction, Towa then leaning up towards you for a kiss. Which you oblige with gusto, at least until another voice calls out.
“The hell Towa? What is this?” Meloka says, angrily storming into the room as sparks dance around her. Well, this might be a problem. “You know the deal!”
“Huh?” you ask, looking between the two of them. What kind of deal is Meloka talking about? Your wife flies over, getting behind the demoness and slides her hands between you both, grabbing onto Towa as she gasps out in surprise.
“Who said you two could start without me?” she says, and suddenly you have a much better idea what she meant by deal. The other kids can wait, right now Meloka and Towa need your attention more.
