>>5774692Navigating through the haze of smoke and the grim aftermath, Kessarion's senses are heightened. He knows that a communications device would be crucial. Information is power, especially now when the very fabric of the galaxy seems to be tearing at its seams.
In the remnants of a fallen clone's utility belt, he finds what he's looking for – a compact, military-grade holocommunicator. Activating it, he is immediately greeted with a barrage of chaotic transmissions.
"...-sault on the Jedi Temple...”
"...-edi traitors, lethal force authorized…”
"...-requesting immediate evac, they've turned on us…”
The grim reality sinks in even further. This isn't an isolated incident; the entirety of the Jedi Order is under attack.
Desperately, Kessarion taps into the frequency designated for the Republic settlement he was previously coordinating with. "This is Master Kessarion Galat. The clones have betrayed us. I repeat, the clones have turned against the Jedi. You must be on guard!" He warns.
A brief moment of silence ensues, then a voice, unmistakably that of a Clone commander, crackles through. "Master Galat, your services to the Republic are noted, but you and your kind have been deemed traitors. This transmission is terminated."
The communicator goes dead, the ominous static a chilling reminder of the betrayal.
