Also works if you like opening new tabs :-)https://soundcloud.com/zankyou-no-terror/ioloiRising to your feet, you’re hit with a wave of deja vu– not only from the fact that you’ve had more than one mutant impose their weird dream-powers on you, but there’s something about this whole thing that reminds you of a show you watched with Matt a while back.
A show of magical girls in frilly dresses and strange, bunny-cat-like creatures, from what you recall of it, the only way to get out was to defeat the wizard–strange creatures that spread despair and darkness– or at least that’s what happened in the show.
Unfortunately for you, there’s no wizard around– just a weird mutant with an even weirder way of trying to get your attention– but, in spite of the lack of wizards around, you have a feeling that the only way out is to go deeper into this trippy maze.
Surging forwards across the wiring, you take to it like one would a trampoline, picking the direction where it feels less empty.
The voice, still yet, rings faintly in your mind, harsh and indecipherable, but a voice nonetheless. Each time it speaks, there's a weighted feeling in your chest, one that makes your muscles tense and throat feel increasingly tighter.
These feelings aren’t yours, not whatsoever. You have to remind yourself more than once, and their presence makes you lose focus as you try to avoid catching your feet on the coppery wires.
It’s why you end up falling into the colorful mess more than once and, face pressed right into the wires, you’re not able to see nor feel anything beneath them. You sincerely hope you won’t find out what happens if you fall through those– because if it’s a dream it’s one thing, but mutant dreams are a whole different ball-game.
