What she did was to convert some of her Mana into Fel to gain two extra dice rolls and lower DCs. Oh and her magic list just reads:
Spells:
-Arts of Warlocks
-Arts of Arcanists
So yeah, she is quite powerful, but she didn't lie when she called Prince Kael'thas the strongest person in the City. In a straight up mage duel Kael'thas probably wins, but if and when she starts throwing Fel around? There is a reason why Nalice tried to push Fel really hard on Alric, it is a shortcut, but boy is it powerful.
