Them moving would also give space for our more competent mercenaries to move in to just in case the enemy forces break through our pike line.
I think most of the arquebusiers have limited utility in their current positions anyway because they cannot fire on the bridge without risking friendly fire. What can and should shoot at the bridge is our saker and our muskets.
