>>5452692As if rising to the challenge, they do indeed start things off well. Their strategy does seem to revolve on Videl taking the lead, but the difference in their frames does make it a little difficult for Sharpner to dodge through obstacles the same way she does. However, Videl also has a couple tricks up her sleeves, and she and Sharpner handle the boulder challenge by, instead of using any of the hiding places along the incline, run along the walls together and even jump over the boulder! Huh, not bad! Good teamwork on that one. The spinning clouds are next, but that’s handled with the same ease Monty and Lime had with it. Leaving just the clowns… and to the amusement of everyone, they handle that with Videl doing a sort of one-armed carry of Sharpner through the pop-up obstacles.
“They passed with flying colors!” Cocoa cheers. “Looks like one of our two established couples have prepped for this pretty well! And look at that coordination! That’s gonna get them the full six points!”
Videl sets Sharpner down, the tall teen blushing a bit but smiling as Videl raises up their held hands in victory. You give them a thumb’s up, which they both return. Minotia comments, “Not quite the strategy I expected, but carrying your partner across the finish line does have its own romantic charm to it, doesn’t it? But that’s just the first two! Next up…!”
Latte and Java. They actually struggle with the roller logs and platforming, Latte very much not used to something like that, with the longer dress she’s wearing not exactly build for that kind of activity and causing them to slip and slide off a couple times. The boulder, spinning clouds, and clown section though they do manage to clear. Not as many fancy tricks there, but still a good three points for them.
