>>5893277Interesting point, I’ll keep that in mind when writing. I played Rise From the Ashes years ago, but I should replay it sometime. I don’t remember much from the game though other than how fun it was to play a cockpit pov game and how I wish we had more games like it.
Did the manga ever get translated? I’ve always wanted to read it but could never find it translated anywhere.
And for the record, I don’t mind all the canon talk. I always appreciate new Gundam canon knowledge, even more so now that I can think of ways to have it affect this story. I’ve actually been feeling even more glad that I made this quest since I rarely get to talk Gundam with others, and it’s been making this experience a blast.
>>5893301Thanks anon, I appreciate that.
I also don’t mind canon ‘tism since I have it too, and like I said to the anon above I find it fun to figure out how to fit this story to established canon without breaking anything. That said, I’m absolutely happy to go off canon. In fact, I pretty much expect it since I haven’t read a Gundam quest that stuck to canon, and I could see that anons just love to break off the canon rails as soon as they can. I always thought it made for more interesting Gundam quests, and I can see the fun of imagining how canon events/characters could bend and change depending on whether certain things happened differently. I’ll definitely give you guys plenty of chances to break canon in however ways you want if you guys talk about what you want to see and do.
Gundam away, my friend.
