"Sir?"
Maruyama's call is enough to snap Gregory out of whatever trance he was just in. "Oh! Are you finished gathering what I wanted? Hopefully you found some good set locations!"
"We did!" You pull out your old aerial drone. "This should have some recordings you'll find interesting. Maruyama, show him what you found."
Maruyama nods and hands over the heavily edited story he wrote. "Our friend, Kiara, has some more but please. Look over what we found so far."
Gregory starts reviewing what you've found across the buildings you went to. He flashes a toothy smile when he reads what Maruyama wrote. "Oh ho ho, how scandalous. Such forbidden love between youngens.." The old man begins to drool as he continues to read over it. "Nice...nice..."
He turns his attention to the footage after pocketing Maruyama's story. At first, he seems to be nodding his head along. "Nice, nice. It's always nice to see such a big theater, you know?" He begins to ramble to you. "Something that can hold a vast crowd of people to observe the splendor of these rising stars!"
"Something t-" He suddenly screeches to a halt when the footage swaps to what you recorded of the anomaly. "What is that thing?"
[PERSON OF INTEREST] He knows. He fucking knows. Is it something he heard from another family member? No, no, can't be...
"An anomaly, recorded by our dear mutual client." Maruyama's voice suddenly switches back to the one he used on Max. "This is well outside the original specifications of what her middleman told her AND what you told of us. Remind us of your assigned task?"
"To find some sets I can film at." The dazed old man is focusing more on what he's being shown than what he is being asked. "Which you did, right? And that thing didn't interfere, so it should be alright."
"No, no. That was an untold risk that HAD interfered, given our mutual client had an...incident involving it." Maruyama continues to rattle off. "I believe we desire a certain level of compensation. Not monetary. If you assist us, we will be willing to overlook this."
>20: PASS!
He hands you your drone back without saying a word. There's a cold, resolute look deep in his eyes as he dwells on everything that he's been shown and told. "This is beyond what I originally assigned for you. It would look bad on my end if my neglect has hindered your task."
<<span class="mu-b">"...How is it...?"</span>> "I accept. Lead the way." Despite the readiness of him accepting Maruyama's deal, you doubt you can really order him as well as your other allies. At the very least, he's actually going to help...right?
>Gregory Krakatoa has joined your party temporarily. He will only assist you for this mission and you doubt you could easily hire him for others.
>His stats will be provided in the following post.
"Follow us. Kiara's going to freak if she thinks we left her behind." You lead the way back to the theatre with your two allies in tow. None of you particularly want to speak on the way back.
