“Okay, girls! You know Chio better than anyone so I’m depending on you!” You made it clear that they’re the ones in charge here.
“Lemme look!” Grace dives into the huge suitcase. There are far too many choices inside even taking into account the size of the thing. “Look! A shrimp suit!” Grace takes some goofy looking pajamas from it. “Here, Mirjam! You wear it!” The duck demands!
“I-I don’t want to be a shrrrrimp!” Mirjam refuses to wear the stupid outfit.
Mirjam is a shrimp now.
“Hmm, we need to find something good for Phil now.” Grace is ready to tackle the task at hand.
“I imagine Chio would like something sophisticated.” You steer them to a much clearer objective.
“You’re going to a fancy place?” Mirjam wonders if such a place exists in Xumenlo.
“I have no idea.” You recall Chio wanted it to be a surprise. “But she wanted me to look presentable.” You reiterate.
“We could sabotage their date…” Grace is coming up with an evil scheme as she holds up some eccentric attire.
“N-No! We can’t!” Mirjam rejects the idea immediately.
“I’m kiddin’! I’m kiddin’! I’m not Cookie, y’know?” Grace giggles. “I’m not gonna waste my chance here, I’ll make Phil look really dreamy.” Pigtails gets all excited.
“You always go a lil’ overboard, you’re already picking outlandish stuff.” Mirjam is worried about how the date will go.
“Phil can totally pull off a vibrant look!” Grace will dress you however SHE wants.
“He’s dating Chio! Tone it down!” The seemingly shy Mirjam remains firm as she starts looking for other options.
“If Chio gets what she wants, Phil will look like some kind of monk.” Grace believes Chio is way too old-fashioned to the point that her taste is considered national heritage.
“This is close to what you were looking for, rrrright?” Mirjam shows a nice-looking suit.
“Yeah, but that’s so, like, drab.” Grace digs again for another choice. “How about this? I think Purple really fits him!” You’re starting to like Grace’s opinion more.
