A good look at your own body reveals, in what you found quite embarrassing just then, that you had been stripped down to nothing but your undergarments, though you could see why. You were covered in bandage wrappings, from your legs to your arms and body. Your right hand and shoulders were heavily wrapped up too.
You sighed and allowed yourself to be pushed back down to the bed. The Rabbit there gave her own sigh of relief
<span class="mu-i">"That's better. I just finished all your bandaging after your wounds had been cleaned for dirt. You don't want any of them to come free or loose! Just sit back and relax and allow the medicine to do its work, please! Ahem, all finished, sensei! Did my best!"</span>
The Rabbit timidly pulled a cover up over your body as you sat down and got your breathing under control before she stood up and walked off to the side, and you were glad to be covered at least now... So, you also took it that the Baku, Doremy, was probably a massive liar trying to edge you into the route that your kidnapper would prefer, like a piece on a playing board. This Rabbit certainly wasn't eating you alive right now. It looked like what Fujiwara no Mokou had told you was right, you were in the care of a medical professional.
"<span class="mu-i">Very good, Reisen. Here, give him this and that will be all.</span>" You heard that same mature voice say.
Looking over, you were approached then by the Rabbit, and a, in your opinion at least, rather plumpy woman in red and blue, kneeling down besides you. She wore a hat with a red cross on it, and extended her hands to offer you a tablet, looks like, whilst the Rabbit set a cup of water down near you and nodded before she got up and went towards the door.
"<span class="mu-i">Here, take this pill. It's a medicine I made up. Kedama have a very light and tolerable venom to their bite. This pill is designed to purge it from your bloodstream so you won't end up suffering minor headaches from it, or hallucinations. It's safe and effective. Trust me, I'm a Doctor.</span>"
"Doctor...? You're the one I heard about." You tell her, accepting the tablet. It was half brown, half white. You nodded at her and took the cup, popping the pill before drinking to get it down.
<span class="mu-i">"Hm. Indeed, I'm Yagokoro Eiren, and I run this office of sorts. Although, I normally use the term pharmacist over doctor myself."</span>
"So, so I'm all patched up then...? I still feel really sore."
<span class="mu-i">"With help from my student, acting as your nurse. You won't have to worry about any chance of infection, we've thoroughly cleaned the wounds and disinfected them. That pill will ensure your only need now is staying hydrated. I suggest getting plenty of rest, it is late at night. I'll check back on you in the morning."</span> She says with a little smile as stands up then and makes her way out.
