Like it or not, you were currently outclassed by the much faster and brutal Agarthan assassin. Still, that didn’t mean the situation was hopeless. This wasn’t some sort of honorable duel between the two of you. Some knights may have balked at healing in the middle of a fight, but you were no knight. Not only did you have no qualms about popping open an elixir, but you were also perfectly comfortable with calling one of the many hired killers at your disposal to assist you. Said killer that you had in mind was conveniently standing nearby and out of the fight, defending the ranged Blackwings and pushing back any corpse warriors who got too close.
>-1 Elixir (2/3) (Blair: 55/55 HP)
The elixir heals your physical wounds fully, but the effects of the toxin are still coursing through your body.
>“Scratch! Help me!”
Aspasia laughs. The Agarthan has taken cover behind two corpse warriors and is applying an Elixir of her own. Much like your wounds, hers are instantly healed and closed. You’re grateful that you’re allowed a moment of reprieve from her attacks, but the fact that she’s back at full health doesn’t bode well.
>(Aspasia: 72/72 HP)
“Good idea.” She laughs. “We mustn’t get carried away. Though I’m not allowed to kill you, as long as you keep healing yourself, I can hurt you as much as I want!”
Aspasia charges forward at breakneck speed, having already recovered from the shallow wounds you’d inflicted on her. You brace yourself for another flurry of blows when your vision is blocked by a large obstacle that appears in front of you. The Assassin’s first forward stab cuts into Scratch’s chest. She pulls her dagger out with a grunt before performing another upward stab with her second weapon. The second dagger finds purchase in Scratch’s left forearm, but before Aspasia can retrieve her weapon, her wrist is caught by the bandit.
>Scratch: 50/62 HP
“You should know I’ve hurt children before.” Scratch says, calmly. “Though I’m getting the impression you’re not really a child, are you?”
