From what I gather, Honor points are related to oaths. The higher the honor rank based on points (Honored, Virtuous) you get good bonuses.
If Alexansder were to take the oath "Lay Low The Tyrants" (which I think he should, given he slew the Overlord), he can make one roll into a natural 6 and reap the benefits. Extremely useful in the right time and place especially if anons are okay with making him our enemy leader slayer.
