>>5538452Cheers. Glad I was able to help.
>>5538491Sixteen. It was during the infiltration of an upper-echelon, old money secret society in the Mid Rim that was LARPing as Sith cultists. One of Larid's smuggler contacts tipped him off about the meeting after cracking open a crate to reveal Sith artifacts from the time of Exar Kun. The Council of First Knowledge dispatched you and Larid as the <span class="mu-i">Bantha</span> was the fastest ship that could make it in time for the meeting.
The venue hall looked like something straight out of <span class="mu-i">"Eyes Wide Shut"</span> with everyone wearing full face masks, cloaks, and esoteric "rituals" pretending to be Sith abound...minus the open-air orgies.
For the event, Master Larid was "Edgerton Pidelridge III, Esq.", archaeologist and Sith historian, and you were his attendant "Ren". During the meet-and-greet, you were instructed to gain access to the main server room and warehouse where they were receiving the contraband. While searching, you'd meet a young woman your age with a vornskr mask, a young Mirialan blueblood bored out of her mind by the name of Maryin Toketa.
Not so much disgusted with the LARP as much as bored out of her mind. Lucky for her, you had the privilege of keeping her entertained. Lucky for you, Maryin's father was the owner of the venue hall, and she had a key for all the rooms.
It would be a very long night of cat-and-mouse, flirting both with danger and with discovery and more than a few drinks. But in the end, you triumphed and put the charm on her hard enough to alleviate her boredom. She used her key to get the two of you somewhere cozy, whereupon after getting somewhere private, you knocked her out, tied her up, and stole the key off her body. After you broke into the warehouse and confirmed the presence of Sith artifacts, Master Larid gave the signal for Republic troops and Jedi to bust down the door and arrest everyone present.
When all was said and done, Maryin's only complaint was that she didn't get to have enough fun with you before the Republic crashed the party. Still, she had enough leftover money after her family's assets were seized to become an apprentice smuggler to Larid's contact. Repeated missions chasing after contraband would bring the two of you together. After Order 66, you'd be the first thing on her mind, and she'd break from her smuggler mentor to try and find you. The galaxy would be an infinitely boring place without her Jedi boytoy who she accidentally fell in love with.
Maryin would have been one of the non-Jedi romance options available during chargen if you didn't choose Arotta, Kristen or adherence to the Code. Other options in my notes included...
>Ronnu Bantad - Zeltron Commando/Tactician. Daughter and heiress of a mercenary company that Master Larid often worked with.>Dilimi Garr - Arkanian Marauder/Demolitionist. Irreverent firebrand living in the moment, nominally a soldier on loan from Kota's Militia. And these aren't even going into FeMC options!
