They marched through the streets. They carried signs and they carried torches and they dressed themselves in cloaks that represented fire, which Garlo was the god of.
They chanted their words against Mortal-kind and repeated phrases. Phrases like... 'No Mortals, no more'... 'Burn the old world, burn the old cloak'... 'Let tomorrow leave the weak behind'.
It was at this point I never thought I'd be able to even leave now, squeezing through the crowd on this tightly packed street. But as luck would have it, I always seem to find a way. I was just trying to get out to another, less packed space, when someone rudely shoved into me and I stumbled forward.
I didn't truly care enough to say anything, or even notice, as where they'd shoved me had ended up being a nice, less claustrophobic space where I had breathing room. I looked up and gasped.
'It's... it's you.'

His skin was grey and red, and he was dressed with faded gold that looked to have blackened from the heat of his flames. His body and armor were identical, in that they wouldn't separate. A crest atop his head, the Tian emblazoned on his chest.
[GARLO] "Ah. Immortal pilgrim. Come to speak to me amidst the rally. Though I'll have you know, I am not allowing just anyone to approach me, so make this worth my time."
'Ah... Ah, w-wait, you got the wrong idea. I wasn't trying to- Well, I mean. I-... uh...'
[GARLO] "Speak clearly, Immortal."
'I... had just hoped to meet you, your lordship. That is all.'
[GARLO] "Nghh..."
[GARLO] "Very well. I suppose there is no trouble in entertaining a guest in the name of imparting erudition."
[GARLO] "I am Master Garlo. I am the master of the Senolist movement. My poise is this; The world has already long expired and fulfilled its lifespan. The time of tomorrow is to come, but we may make it come sooner by convincing our most holy one of this simple truth..."
