You glanced at Slip, then back at Deadhead's clothes and made an executive decision.
Seven minutes later, your team was in full retreat. Flint and Glass got away with only minor injuries on Glass' part, and the other two were similarly unscathed. Leading the charge was you, and the slender young man wearing a patchwork set of thermals that were barely being held together by thick globs of webbing. It didn't take people long to figure out what was happening, as countless streams of gunfire whizzed past you as you made your escape.
If you could keep this up, then you should be back at Silvermane's base in no time!
And right then, almost as if the universe was motivated to prove you wrong, your spider sense went off.
That was nothing new. People were shooting at you, after all. But it was the direction that bothered you. It wasn't coming from behind or below. No. It was coming from above.
You looked back, only to see a pair of sharp talons streaking past you to latch onto Slip's arm. He screamed, and you reached out to snatch him away from this avian-themed thief, only to be met by a fierce backhand from a set of steel wings.
Your head rocked back, and you began to plummet towards the ground. And that's when you looked up and saw it. The mocking sneer of the man that had nearly killed your best friend. Half of his face was badly burned but you still recognized him. The bird suit was a huge giveaway.
"I'll take that, thank you!" Drago all but growled, before flapping his wings once and shooting off towards the sky.
"Was that-!?" Flint began to say.
"Yeah, it was! And he's got our target!" You said, firing a web at his back and snagging it with pinpoint accuracy. Almost immediately, you were being pulled along with them, propelled by whatever it was that kept those bird-suits in the air. Speaking of, you should bug Toomes about that energy core sometime soon.
"Hey, thanks for saving me the time to track you down!" you shouted, drawing his attention.
"That's my line." he snarled. "I owe you big time for making me look like this!"
"Really? I thought it was an improvement." you casually remarked.
Drago let out a sinister laugh. "Oh, it's nothing compared to what I've got planned for you! After I turn this kid in, I'll come back for you, and then you'll get yours!" he declared, a mad look in his eye. "Now…quit riding on my coattails!"
The Vulture's flight pattern became erratic and turbulent, making it that much harder to maintain your grip on the webline.
What will you do?
>Snag something heavy and try to pull the Vulture down.
>Reel yourself in and pummel the crap out of Drago when you can get close enough.
>Try to guess where he'll fly and throw a couple of web bombs into his path.
>Have Glass try to shoot him down with glass shard projectiles.
>Write-in.
