Being too close for the full force of his swings didn't stop your legs from receiving several gashes across your lower limbs, with the dragonslayer depending on more brute force than sharpness, you're surprised your armor could block out most of the damage, even if you were shouting throughout his strikes.
"ENOUGH!" Having more strength in your legs than your arms, you shift the weight of his sword before he could swing, sending him spinning his head into an opposite pillar as Violet dragged the swordsman's neck away from you, both falling onto themselves as the syringe slipped through your fingers.
Hyde catches it by taking his boot off and letting the needle rest on it's leather. Hygiene and medical etiquette aren't really a top priority, what matters is that the item is still intact, and so is the Mandragora.
If Guts can pull strength out of thin air by channeling his anger, you will match his fierceness with your own drive for success! Do what he wouldn't he able to!
[red] "That's it... Ravish them... Kill them all. This is what you were always meant to do. It's in your nature to destroy, so don't hold back against them. Sacrifice them before they sacrifice you." [/red]
His inner beast is still in full control of Guts and his mind. The reason he grew a lot more distant with you in this encounter compared to the one before suddenly starts to make a lot more sense.
You wish you could reach his mind, but you're too busy wondering if Hyde can take him on without dying, or if you can pull open the bulb and jab Casca and Anette before the dire situation turns even more sour.
Is the dowsing going to make their healing more or less effective? Who knows... All you've decided for now is that the dosage will be on...
