The vending machine goes flying through the air at a speed you didn't know you could move an object at. The anomaly spots the massive metal projectile being thrown at it and starts vibrating in an attempt to phase right through it. The vending machine phases through the torso of the anomaly but the still-solid legs get hit by the vending machine at full force.
This promptly rips one of the legs clean off while the other one gets torn to shreds. The weight and momentum of the fridge sends the anomaly flying into a nearby wall. You take this moment to get the fuck out of here before it can recover. You check behind you to see how quickly it recovers from the attack.
The anomaly is prone on the floor, the static surrounding it getting even worse. It slowly pushes itself off of the ground and starts crawling over to its leg. It grabs it before crawling somewhere else. You're not quite sure what it's doing but it's distracted for now, so you keep booking it.
You stumble out of the Studio a bit too fast, nearly causing you to trip and eat dirt. You keep pushing through, however. You turn to run around to the shed while ignoring the growing aching in your legs. If you remember correct, it has to be behind the two buildings somewhere.
After a few minutes of constant running and looking behind your back in case the anomaly is following, you find yourself outside of the storage shed. It's a small blocky building with an oddly sturdy steel door that has a keypad next to it. You fall to your knees once your body sees you're somewhere safe (enough) for now.
Lucky for you, you have a supernatural sense of timing. Your three allies exit out of the shed with a LOT of filming equipment and props in hand. Maruyama and Gregory are trying their best to ignore each other to the point they don't even notice you. Kiara, though?
She (carefully) drops what she has on the ground before rushing over to you. She reaches underneath your shoulders with her hands and pulls you back up into a standing position. "Nicole? Nicole?" She shakes you a little bit to get your attention. "What's wrong?
You quickly explain what just happened to your three allies. This promptly freaks them the fuck out.
"Fuck, we don't have a lot of time, do we?" Maruyama's bitterness has been completely replaced with a mixture of shock and worry.
Gregory doesn't say a single word. The silence, even in his mind, says everything you need to know.
Kiara is flipping between overwhelming excitement and concern for your well being. "HOLY SHIT WE CAN ACTUALLY FILM THE ANOMALY wait did it hurt you WAIT YOU BEAT IT UP are you okay-"
"Look, look, I'm okay." You clap your hands to try getting her attention. Tell me what you found so I can think up of a plan."
"Right!" Kiara lets go of you and goes to retrieve what she found. You start taking stock of everything they managed to find inside. You're starting to run low on usable drugs, hopefully they got something good.
