He wants to be best boy and he can't do that while we currently hold the office of "guy who gives everyone guns and makes sure their computers turn on."
Helping Logar style on us was only supposed to stroke his ego, having Logar basically spit on our faith, shit in our house, and tell us to eat it crossed a few lines and he knew that it would only take a word for both his legion and Logar's to spend the next few centuries fighting wars with rocks and sticks while flying in ships held together with tape, and that's only if they steal the tape.
