‘MORE… [FRAGMENTS]…’ it confirms, still mirroring your voice.
“Boss, why is your planet so haunted?” Cheelai questions, giving you a bit of a side-eye. “Because this has absolutely been a pattern at this point.”
“Eh, I ain’t complainin’ too much.” Don Para remarks. “Frozen mystery castle with spooky monsters, sure, but she’s got most of it under control.”
“Focus, guys.” you tell them, attention back on the Shapeless. “So what happens if one of them gets this?” You hold up the Dreamstone just a bit closer, taking care not to get too close. “Is it like that… flame stone thing? You have some of Yamcha’s memories, you know what I’m talking about.”
The grub reaches for it again, cooing more. It even attempts to jump up at it, barely getting a couple centimeters off the ground. The Shapeless speaks again, this time copying different words from different people. ‘WHAT HAPPENS…’

A few images flash inside your mind. The Dreamstone morphing into something much closer to that crystal from the Mifan Tournament. That shattered thing… unshattering, like it’s being played in reverse. The grub, or grubs, growing massive, a shell of long and sharp crystals emerging its back. And finally something burrowing down... down to the deepest levels of the castle.
Okay, absolutely DO NOT let one of these get access to the Dreamstone. From the barrier, you can see several of the grubs congregating around it, watching. Yeah might be a good time to leave now.
