It also is still a liability wherever the influence of Chaos or warp storms are it can fuck with our visions same way it did Magnus or the Eldar time and again, even Big E was able to be blocked by the combined might of Chaos. Also if we want to study Null tech it becomes less useful around our experiments.
We wont need the Sight at all if we gain access to the higher sciences directly, either via a DAoT machine spirit/STC or by downloading the mind of a Cryptek and their technomantic knowledge. With such knowledge, we can analyze and comprehend even the most mysterious phenomena.
