Pepper still seems pretty… <span class="mu-i">peppy</span>, so you opt to take her to some more fun! What do you say we hit up the <span class="mu-s">ARCADE</span>, huh?
“Careful, sandcrab…” She purrs with a competitive glimmer in her eyes, “Doesn’t matter what we play… I’m not gonna go easy on you!”

The arcade, like most of its ilk, feels like a separate ecosystem when you enter–the brisk sea air is replaced by warm humidity tinged with sweat, caffeine, and booze!
The realm of champions…
Being an arcade, the joint has a bunch of <span class="mu-s">GAMES</span>–the old-fashioned kind that still takes quarters! Fighting, racing, hack n’ slash… they even have that cabinet Uncle Emilio’s been keeping on life support since you were a kid: <span class="mu-s">SPACE KING!</span>
Beyond there lies the aforementioned <span class="mu-s">MINI-GOLF COURSE–</span>pirate-themed just like you remember it! There are a few other players idling around, of course, but it doesn’t seem too crowded for two more golfers…
“Oohh…” Remarks Pepper as she points to the other corner of the surprisingly-spacious game center, “I think I found our next winner, sandcrab…”
Following her finger, your eyes light up and your pulse quickens at what you see… and <span class="mu-i">hear</span>! A fleet of <span class="mu-s">GO-KARTS</span> speed around a course with an island motif sending plumes of smelly, but familiar exhaust into the air! Shit, you remark, when did they put <span class="mu-i">that</span> in??
“Looks like we might get a race in tonight after all!” Smiles your date as she nudges your side with her hip! “Unless you wanna do something else…”
There <span class="mu-i">are</span> other attractions… the <span class="mu-s">BATTING CAGES</span> are sequestered away on the opposite end of the arcade, but they aren’t as big as the ones you see elsewhere. Still, no better way to show off than by hitting a few homers!
You assumed there was a <span class="mu-s">SHOOTING GALLERY</span> here too, but you think that might’ve moved to the <span class="mu-s">CARNIVAL GAMES</span> outside…
