The group behind her slowly burns to death and Irene hurls streaks of starlight at them. Those that managed to make it through the barrage from the aoe quickly met their end as another blast of magic strikes them. The distance between you and the bridge below you make the shots somewhat difficult. A few times they fly a bit to wide of the their mark to hit dead center. One bolt strikes a zombie's side, burning it away and exposing it's intestines as they spill out and trip it up. Another strikes the knee, and causes it to disintegrate. The zombie collapses and instinctively grabs the nearest object, another zombie, before they both are pulled down and plummet off the side of the bridge. On the other side, a card strikes a zombie rearing for an attack. Ethereal shackles snap around it's wrists as chains loosely wrap themselves around it's limbs, restraining them enough to allow the woman to turn and attack it. "I'm running low on mana!" Irene shouts as she forms another cloud of night at another group approaching below. She hurls a third card at downwards and closes her eyes. "Buy me some time. I need to regenerate!"

"Ryuji swing wide!" You shout as you call forth your armor. "Henshin!" You leap into the group, kicking a zombie off of the bridge. You will yourself to jump once more and for a moment it feels like you leap off of solid ground. An arcane sigil appears below your feet to act as said solid ground and you rocket forward at 90 degrees from your original angle right over the swing of Ryuji's weapon. You drive your knee right into the chest of another zombie attempting to knock them off the bridge but your transformed state's increased speed and jumping power causes it to simply shatter upon impact...and sending you right off the bridge.
"JOHN!" Ryuji screams and his swings grow wild as he desperately attempts to get to the edge in a futile attempt to save you. Time seems to slow down as you fight the sense of vertigo and stare down at the seemingly endless abyss below you. You close your eyes for a moment and take a deep breath to settle your nerves before you will yourself to defy gravity once more.

You kick off the runes once more with all the force you can muster and shoot yourself back towards the ledge. You tuck your legs in and curl up to clear the ledge before spinning and opening up over Ryuji's shoulder delivering a powerful kick that cleanly severs the head of two zombies behind him. "HOLY SHIT! You can do that?!" He screams as you land, your back to his. You give him a slight nod.
