“Thank you.” Rogal Dorn said as he was handed his drink. The man took a small drink of it for himself in a sort of test with a hint of surprise upon his face, “Interesting. This is based on Leman’s Mjorn?”
“Heavily so. It was our brother that learned the secrets to overcoming the anatomy of an Astartes. I took it one step forward and made it palatable.”
“How long did it take to make?” Asked the Primarch of the Imperial Fists as he seemed to decide it was best to engage in small talk.
“A week’s research time, but it took over several months of waiting.” TalOS admitted as he gave a phantom smile, “Do you enjoy it?”
“It is serviceable for social gatherings, but that is all. It is odd to feel a drink that has a real influence upon me.” Admitted the Steel Browed Primarch with a hint of surprise.
“Such is a difference between us an mortal men.” TalOS pointed out with a hint of glee within his gullet, “I would take this as a moment to feel what they feel. For my Legion this is one of the ways they keep in touch with each other and what they were before the Legion.”
TalOS watched as Dorn gave a nod to those words in understanding. That was enough for TalOS, for he did not need to bring others into his fold but only show them that he really did care.
“First I wanted to take this moment to thank you Brother.” Were the words that were said next, “I have seen and read the records of what you have done for my Legion. I have talked to and understood that many of my sons enjoyed the presence of the Steel Dragons. With the presence of the Auxiliary they were not only able to destroy several Ork and Xeno Empire, but broker a vassalage with several Kingdoms that would not have done so otherwise. I want to make sure that we continue this transaction.”
“I have no reason to stop it. My Elder, Magos Lucius, appears to be a valued advisor to you and that is repayment enough.” TalOS answered back remembering his fellow.
“He has been the greatest help these last few days. I would not have him as an advisor simply because of nepotism.”
“As it should be.” Agreed TalOS.
