Lucian looked at the bizarre creature for a moment, his mind wondering just what kind of horror it was before it took something from its side. It reminded Lucian of the weapon that Wigmar had not used yet, but much bigger. The hole of the weapon pointed directly at Lucian with purpose that he sensed before he could understand.
Before he even understood that a warning had been whispered into his ear Lucian had thrown himself onto the ground and rolled into a standing guard. Heat washed over his body as the weapon the Skaven was using roasted the ground where he was once standing.
These rats had mastered the art of controlling flame. That vermin which attacked Lucian just now was something comparable to a sorcerer of their kind. Said sorcerer was now fleeing as he failed to get his mark, taking to hiding behind a wall before Tyny could release a torrent of thunder in its direction.
Lucian then felt a gaze upon him, one which did not belong to the thousand of ratmen that wanted him but one that was much more sane than them. He heard a call reach out, “I’ve got that one!”
Lucian did not know what possessed the fool but he broke ranks and threw himself toward the hiding rat. Sure that rat needed to die but it was not a reason to break ranks! Not when one could quickly be surrounded by the rats and killed by their kin.
>Chase after the fool
