“That…” Instead of the horror that Fulgrim gave earlier the Primarch gave his brother confusion, “How can anything other than what our Father create be better?”
“It is the strength of Steel Fulgrim, that is what I hold.” TalOS told his brother but he knew that these words were not reaching his brother.
“Steel? Our flesh is stronger than whatever steel can bring.” Announced the Perfect Specimen as he slammed his bare fist to create an indentation into the table below him, “See how easily it is mended! How do you see it as stronger?”
TalOS felt his hearts skip as he saw a venerated piece of material destroyed. A sickening feeling flowed into where his brain lies telling him of the numerous stories the furniture had been witnessed to. In an instant his Machine Spirits made it known that it was three centuries old, given because of TalOS's ever burgeoning requests for information.
“Brother, I ask that you do not damage my materials. Where we stand is a venerable place that holds things centuries older than us.” TalOS exclaimed while trying to arrange an Artisan to repair the injured material.
It was to those words that Fulgrim looked upon his brother with blankness, “Every step I have taken upon this land has been a test of my will, TalOS. Do you think me a fool? I have seen your Acillians among those within those that welcomed me, such perverted creations of our Father’s Astartes. I understand that you made them yourself when you have yet to bask in our Father’s glorious creations, but you’ve yet to cease their production.”
“That is illogical-”
“How can you see such a thing as Illogical!” Cut Fulgrim with an accusation, “They are like effigies of the glorious Astartes! Only a fool would keep them around!”
