Rolled 20, 7, 8 = 35 (3d20)
>>5578789You cannot pass up this opportunity. The Green Knight is straining to free himself from where you have wedged him, and so long as he cannot move freely, he is as good as at your mercy.
“It isss a shame,” you say, as you survey his predicament. “I have heard much of you, Yosef. I had thought that you might prove a worthwhile foe.”
The Green Knight pauses in his struggle as you speak his family name, slowly lowering his head to survey you. You don’t need an empathic sense to feel the shock and fury radiating from the silent swordsman.
“You aren’t living up to the legend,” you lament.
Unfortunately for him, you have far less mercy than mana. The Red Dragon King’s reserves are truly impressive. You aren’t exactly a wizard, so focusing upon too many ongoing spells at once still strains your concentration; in contrast to your early days, however, casting spell after spell has hardly any effect upon your stamina. As you assume the stance for another use of your <Wall of Stone> and summon the strength, what was once a laborious task feels as easy as breathing.
And breathing is exactly what the Green Knight must be struggling to do now, as you pull the ceiling down and the floor up, to meet him in the middle.
