>>5770631Thanks. My biggest inspiration for the ghosts was Jap folklore and World of Horror ghost encounters- it's a turn based RPG video game with some Roguelike elements. They are fights where you can't actually hurt the ghost (since they're a ghost) so you have to "sever their ties to our world", whatever that means, leave offerings, or cast spells. My favorite thing about them is you can defeat EVERY ghost in the game with a specific sequence of claps and bows, which is about the most Japanese shit I have ever heard in my life- randomized each playthrough. I like it because it basically forces you to think differently for a specific fight and honestly the fact that 99% of games (video or tabletop) treat ghosts as just a regular enemy but with a transparency filter is such a missed opportunity.
