You've worked hard to move up to Level 4 as a fresh Peace-Keeper and social worker. Then, it turned out, it wasn't enough. Evidence of the Killer's movements are higher up the chain; Level 3 or above, meaning you don't have access to them without being on that level of the city. The entire reason you worked your way up to Level 4 was to get answers, and now it turns out that won't be enough. It's been hard staying motivated, but you keep thinking on what you're gonna do when you finally find him. From the few eyewitness reports and the psychology profile; you know he's bald and travels between levels of the city, and remains at large. When you find him? You aren't going to catch him and bring him in; you're going to kill him. Simple as that.
In the meantime though, this most recent Killing is not official classified as one of the Killer's works. You volunteered to come along specifically to get evidence and answers, and it's been frustrating how they don't seem to want to listen to you.
<span class="mu-b">"Boss, I'm pretty sure we know who did this. The Serial Killer."</span>
"Cheryl. We do not use such dehumanizing language. They are persons-in-crisis."
<span class="mu-b">"..."</span>
"Besides, the victim is a member of the Pacelli crime family. This is highly likely to be a mob connected killing. He could owe money or maybe displeased a superior."
<span class="mu-b">"But isn't the Pacelli family the strongest in the whole Level? It seems like they'd do this to one of their enemies. And it's a ritualized killing, not just a bolt'ing in a dark alley..."</span>
"Officer Cheryl, you are reaching. You're a good cop, but don't make this about your obsession with "the Killer", alright? It's not going to look good on either of our reports."
Maybe your boss is right, but something about this crime scene feels off to you. Looking down at the feet of the victim, you see the scrapped up impacted floor, a mixture of blood and pulled teeth, and an unusual placement of his foot. Like he was using it for something before he died. Something about it is fishy, but you don't really know what yet.
