The dragon spirals downwards. For a moment, you think he's trying to body-slam Astamon, but he quickly banks hard and thrusts himself back into the air. The spinning motion is so powerful that it churns up a whirling tornado, filled with high-speed wind data.

<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"Then go! Coward! I'll bring DarkTyrannomon this one's head!"</span></span>
The Champion abandons his friend and flees towards the center of the city. You fire a few potshots after him, but the single one that makes contact does absolutely nothing. You stare at the weapon with disappointment while Astamon handles his own foe.
Your partner eyes the storm without flinching. After making a series of quick calculations, he smirks and raises his weapon. You watch in utter fascination as he holds the trigger down and sprays straight into the whirlwind, refusing to give ground even as it rapidly approaches. The Airdramon is moving away to prepare another attack, and doesn't interfere.
"What are you...?"
The tornado seems to slow down as it moves closer and closer to Astamon, and you see more of the bullets caught within. The data that comprises the attack gradually fades, until it's nothing more than a puff of air that sends the spent bullets sprinkling across the street. A bucketful of pellets harmlessly rain down on your head, causing you to flinch behind your goggles.
"What was that?" You ask.
<span class="mu-s">"I canceled it out! All I had to do was shoot counter-clockwise."</span>
You're left bewildered as the Airdramon dive-bombs him with another special move.

"MAVERICK!"
<span class="mu-s">"MAVERICK!"</span>
Needle-like blades of wind shoot into the earth where Astamon once stood, but he's already leaping into the air with one foot extended outwards. He puts a hole through the Airdramon's chest as he passes, sending it crashing onto the street like its dead companion. The creature takes off, now thinking twice about continuing to fight, but it's too late.
