The tunnel directly bisects the unit opposite yours in the complex. The storage room is adjacent and shares a wall with Unit 7. Based on its arrangement and the blueprints, it makes no logical sense how that tunnel could exist there. You thought maybe it's possible that Unit 7 is a dummy apartment, not really there, and this tunnel is some secret building thing- but even that wouldn't work, because it's far too long to fit in the guy's living room, much less extend beyond it. Besides, you know Unit 7's occupant. You've seen him enter and leave his apartment. Someone is living in there, tunnel be damned.
Therefore, after weighing all the options and considering your own delusions and mental state- only one outcome can be determined. You have somehow stumbled upon a Non-Euclidean space.
You've been thinking about it a lot recently. Firstly, how strange is it that you of all people managed to find something like this- a wormhole or bigger-inside-than-outside environment, actually being real and existing on earth. How has nobody else found one yet? How is this a unique event, if it is even possible at all? That strikes you with a few questions and doubts. Could there be more of these and they're just kept quiet and hushed up? Would a government agency come and silence you if you went public with this?
Being the first person to encounter something this strange, this unique- it gives you a special position. This is a truly new thing, something absolutely unique and curious. This is like space exploration. You are incredibly eager to see what this is like, to probe and figure out what this “hole” is. You could be the first person on Earth to have encountered something like this.
On the one hand, you really hate to be this capitalistic and petty, but you really don't have that much going on in your life. You work at dead end job at a hardware store, minimum wage, not much opportunity for advancement. You don't have too many talents or skills or connections either. Your life isn't anything special, just average and boring. Being the first person to discover something like this could set you up in a very special way- but it something you have to consider. Maybe in a simpler situation you could just sell this property off to some eccentric billionaire or researchers for kajillion dollars and be done with it- but you're just a tenant so it isn't that simple. Besides, you don't really know if just washing your hands of this strangeness is a real solution. Don't you want to see what's going on?
What should you do?
>Contact your local university & scientific community
>Open a social media account and start documenting your discoveries
>See what's inside without telling anyone
>Tell your landlord
