He said as he gave his goodbyes to the health hero. Kai had asked him to join for dinner, but the gentleman said he came here only to invite him, and was planning to spend the evening with his wife.
When he returned to the kitchen, Kai saw that the noodles still not ready, so he had time too carefully rearrange the freezers. Looking through the bags he carried the supplies from the nest, he found what he was looking for inside: the tail-end of the multi-headed snake they found dead there. It was a long shot, but perhaps with it Byakko could track down the den before more mutant creatures attacked his dojo and hurt his students.

When Kai called the group to eat, he saw that Kaede and Yama were a bit upset with one another. Still, it did not look like anything serious, so it was best to not intrude for now.
"Yono, I need to have a talk with you after the class. Don't worry, it's nothing bad."
-
"So teach, if you wanted to talk with me, why is he here too?"
Yono said pointing towards Yama, sitting uncomfortably on the cushion of an antiquated tea table.
"Because what I need to talk involves him. He needs help, but it's not something that I'm really suited for."
Kai answered as he poured some tea in the cups. He was forced to learn how when he joined a swordsmanship school, and the habit stuck even after he left.
"And it was something that I would be suited for then?" She said, before suddenly blushing "This better not be anything perverted or I'm going to kick your ass!" She suddenly shouted
"Nothing of the sort. I'll just let him explain."
Kai said, motioning toward Yama while sipping.
