>>5699194"I'm more intrigued as to how it's not responded to anything we've done so far. I sure would get up if someone stuffed my mouth with a block of ice." Serpico adds. "Either Sivir's magic is that strong..."
"Or we haven't done significant damage for him to awake..." You complete his sentence. For all that you know, he could have several mouths that can form at any of his extremities. His anatomy is a maze, unlike any live creature you have opened and impaled before. If not for the faint beating of his heart, you wouldn't be sure to even look for his vital spots.
The manta rays grow thicker in mass, making Guts put more strength into his swings as he presses forward. Spiking the base arm that sticks them to it's innards, you find enough strength in you to rip them out individually as the spikes on your trident expand and contort into different directions, their mollusk-like arms being impeded from growing as you run a second layer of ice from the other end of your weapon, with Gunpowder's galloping aiding you in covering as much ground as possible.
You still don't feel like you're being considered as a real threat to it, perhaps that is a blessing in disguise...
"Well, this is where I'll be leaving you, gentlemen." Serpico turns around after hearing the Sea God's heartbeat growing louder. "Someone needs to guard the front door. And I've had enough misadventures on the deep blue. Don't keep me waiting" He exclaims out of breath, though still holding you a thumbs up.
Wondering when a true challenge would come to face the three of you, Guts notices that there are actually three tunnels connecting to his mouth, two downwards, which you imagine it to be his respiratory and circulatory system, but one upwards, as well.
"So which way are we going again?"
>Up, that must be where his brain is, and I doubt he can stay alive without it.>Down, that's where I'm hearing his heartbeat.>Want to split up and see who gets there first?>I'll freeze a large artery of his and see to which tunnel it leads to.
