“No way...” Broly says, your son taking a step backwards in fear as Darkseid rises up and out of the lava. To your shock he's completely unharmed, arms back behind his back as he rises from the liquid rock.
“Impressive. It would seem that I have underestimated the power of you apes.” Darkseid says, hovering slowly towards the two of you. You stand your ground, the giant god landing on the edge of the crater less than three yards from you, your son not retreating while you remain standing where you are. “Perhaps I should visit your people's world next, and take your people as my next batch of slaves?”
“Threaten my people again, and I will erase you right here and now.” you snarl, rage igniting. “You're not the first god I've fought. And if you keep going, won't be the first I've killed either.”
“Hmph. You're quite confident in yourself, primitive.” he says, looking down at you. “And, for a mortal, your power is exceptional. It would be a shame to end you here. So, how about you surrender to me? Become my servant, and your life will be spared. Or, you can continue resisting. And both you, and your son, will die here.”
