TalOS bid UZ1 a farewell before making his way deeper into the recesses of the ship. The Onus Probandi, while not the largest of Mechanicum Ships, was about the size of Agri-World Cities. With such an immense size some places tended to become vastly different from others.
That was the reason why most of the walls began to change. Instead of the angular and utilitarian walls that TalOS was accustomed to, the Primarch was instead walking through rooms where much of the previously exposed wiring was closed and the corridors barely had a servo-skull or servitor walking through it.
Replaced from what would have generally been standard Admech operations instead a series of banners and carpet were strung out throughout the halls. These banners were a mix between the steel gray of House Borgius and the red of house Navaros. It was actually a little entertaining as TalOS noticed that the decor were at either side of the walls with the carpet being of Legio Astorum.
+Interesting…+ TalOS said to himself as he looked at the carpet for himself.
“L-Lord TalOS!” The words of what TalOS realized was a woman rang in his ears and the Arch Dominus quickly turned around to see a full blooded person.
TalOS had to laugh at himself for a moment as he realized he has not seen anyone without augmetics for a few weeks at least, “My apologies if I had scared you. I take it you are a servant of Navaros?”
“Th-that is correct my Lord.” She answered while giving TalOS a bow, “I am Lady Tor, a Servant of the great house Navaros. Have our decorations taken your eye?”
“You can say so, they are pleasing.” TalOS admitted as he gave a small glance to the carpet he was on, “What would be the reason Legio Astorum has a presence here though? Its been only recently that more of my fellow Princeps have come to grace us.”
“It was a compromise the two Princes agreed to. Both agreed they should have a side of the welcoming halls but neither relented on who shall furnish the carpet.” She said with a tired voice, “They would also not bow to mixing the carpets for it would taint the product in both their ires. Thus, upon the words of a Priest of your Brotherhood, it was decided that we employ the colors of the God Machine.”
TalOS gave a small laugh as he heard such a normal answer. If he had to be honest the carpet seemed to suggest that it was Legio Astorum and Particep Semper that allowed the two houses to be in the same hall as one another.
