The... army? Well, uh, if you look over .. . *there*...

>We are drawn up for a rapid dawn engagement.
>The troopers are tiring, but they have managed to get a nights sleep and recover. Waiting out in the fort and Decimus' special coffee ration order has done a wonder for recuperation.

PREPARATION PHASE
>Though the actual engagement is likely in a new thread, you can take this time to:
- Check your gear and finalise your sheet
- Arrange yourself somewhere within the defined deployment area.
If you have *PATHFINDING*, you can utterly ignore this restriction and try to arrange yourself anywhere - but you naturally test against Pathfinding. This is relatively safe - you'll get to the most reasonably approachable area near you destination. You get some intelligence and dispel some fog of war.
If you are wearing a mobility kit, you can attempt to forward scout. This burns 2 fuel, but you can pick a location in the yellowe'd forward scout area. This dispels some fog of war, gives you some intelligence and unlike pathfinding isn't safe at all in the least whatsoever.
- In addition to finding yourself, feel free to order the troopers to take up near a particular position or get into some kind of formation.
- Finally, you can take one general major-ish action as we get ready. Shout something inspiring, distribute some extra bandages, threaten a target you can see (we can't really see anyone), pray for good luck or some other useful thing you might want to get up to.
>Will probably leave this open for 48 hours or so, to get things settled. Rapidly less if we have a rapid response.
