The two were silent to one another as they walked through the workstation. The factory was still active of course, being that the tides of war will never cease within the galaxy. But in his kindness, TalOS gave a few workers who were able a day’s leave so that he would have the more personal experience he seeked today.
TalOS opened a door to a room with two massive chairs. The Primarch gave a hand towards one of the chairs, which his brother took as a sign to sit. TalOS noticed as he looked upon his brother that there was little sense of awe in his eyes or even a desire for study. All that was before him seemed to have giving him the same feelings that his first sight of TalOS gave.
Before he sat though, while standing on his two feet, Fulgrim finally spoke, “My Brother, what have they done to you?”
TalOS was about to sit, but instead remained standing to look Fulgrim in the eyes. Before his augmentations TalOS would not have rivals his brother in size, but after decades within the Mechanicum his body was forged into something far greater than its original form. As if to show, TalOS eyes were level with that of Fulgrim’s.
“They have given me everything I have.” TalOS responded as he gave another hand to the chair for his brother, “Food will be coming soon.”
“I will not allow you to avoid me with the temptation of food.” Declared the 3rd as he allowed his eyes to fully scan over TalOS. TalOS felt the reason he did this was because in his disgust he avoided learning the full extent, “Oh brother, I shall shed a tear for you as you cannot shed any yourself.”
“I am still equipped with tear ducts. My eyes have not been given liquid sealing treatment.” TalOS corrected his brother in an attempt at a joke, “Fulgrim, I am still a Primarch just as yourself.”
“How can you say so?” Pointed out the Primarch as he moved away from the chair and towards TalOS, “No longer do you bare the skin, muscle, and form that our Father gave us. Instead of being a perfect creation that represents our Father, you perverted both the flesh and form that he gave you.”
“That is because what was given to me was inadequate.” TalOS declared with the firmness of someone who wanted the conversation to end, “My body is but a malleable construct of blood vessels and tissue before, now the firmness of adamantine steel.”
