You look dead ahead and <span class="mu-i">clear your mind</span>. The sudden fear fades as you regain control. At first, you think there is nothing behind you, you imagine blackness, but then realize that isn't good on its own either, and instead, just stare at the storage room ahead and think... nothing. No thoughts at all. No reaction or future plans or hopes and anticipations. Just pure motion. Left right left. And then, you're out of it.
Back in the storage room, with tools in hand, you've successfully made it back from the tunnel in one piece. Perhaps the first excursion with the others showed that going with more then one person is more dangerous- everyones thoughts and fears can manifest and piggyback off each other to amplify the sensation. By yourself? It merely goes off what you give it. You feel more confident in what the tunnel is, though now its new possibilities start to jump out at you...
